Design Story:
This mesmerizing Shirt, "The Jungle of Shravana," is inspired by the dense forest of hanging branches.where King Dasharatha accidentally killed his nephew, Shravana. The king was hunting and mistakenly shot Shravana, thinking he was a shining deer.
When King Dasharatha went into the dense forest to retrieve his kill,he found Shravana bleeding near the lake. With his last breath, Shravana insisted the king to take a pot of water to his parents who were waiting for him in a "Kavad" (a bamboo basket tied to a pole) hanging in the branches of a tree. Shravana was on a Hindu pilgrimage along with his parents that would purify their souls. When her mother discovered about her son's death, She cursed the king with "PutraShoka," which means dying “in grief of one's own son”.
