Design Story:

The Shirt Garden of Eden is inspired by the story of the birth of Adam - first human being created by nature in the Garden of Eden. When nature and divine forces created Adam from the dust of the garden , they planted him at the center of the Tree of Life. The Garden of Eden is known for its power of creation, purity, beautiful trails, and variety of creatures that resides in harmony and unity within the garden.

When the new seed of Adam was sowed, the garden was once again tested for its power of creation. It held strong to its attributes of purity, acceptance, imagination, and creativity, which bloomed into the creation of the first human being ever.

Kalamkari

Kalamkari has deep roots in temple culture. Traditionally used to create narrative panels depicting scenes from the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Puranas. It was a devotional art form, with craftsmen (called chitrakattis) serving as visual storytellers in temples.

Andhra Pradesh

The Srikalahasti style is entirely hand-drawn using a bamboo or date-palm pen dipped in fermented jaggery and iron solution, then elaborated with natural dyes derived from plants like indigo, pomegranate rind, and myrobalan. The Machilipatnam style uses carved wooden blocks for printing on fabric pre-treated with myrobalan and cow milk. Both styles require multiple rounds of dyeing, washing, and sun-drying. a single piece can take weeks to complete.
